Tunbridge World War II airstrip is 6 kms west of Tunbridge township on the Midlands Highway, close to half way between Hobart and Launceston. Take the road to Interlaken and 5 kms from Tunbridge, you will see the wind sock, hangars and agricultural spraying pivot off to your right. Turn right onto the dirt road towards Annandale Dairy and after about 200 metres go into the open gate, keeping to the left side of the runway to the hangars. The current historic airstrip is 840 metres useable at an altitude of 800 feet above sea level. The runway directions are 140 deg magnetic and 320 deg, described in aviation as 14/32.
